Developed and tested by our stylists in our salon, the Keratin 10 range recognises the fact that keratin is the major structural component of hair. Keratin 10 is a true salon-quality range of products infused with keratin protein to replenish and restore strength and vitality in hair that has become weak or damaged.
Whilst highly durable, the keratin naturally present in hair can be damaged through chemical processes such as colouring and thermal hair processes such as the use of hair straighteners, curling tongs and even hairdryers.

Here's the science bit:
The hair shaft is made of keratin protein (strength) and hydrogen bonds (flexibility) and consists of three layers: the cuticle, cortex, and medulla.
The Cuticle
The cuticle is the hair’s outer most layer and consists of scale like cells that overlap. These cells work to protect against damage to the hair’s inner structure. When healthy, i.e. smooth and intact, the outer cuticle gives your hair shine and protects the inner layers from damage.
The Cortex
Forms your hairs’ main bulk and pigment. It consists of long, strong keratin filaments, held together by disulphide and hydrogen bonds. The health and strength of your cortex depends largely on the integrity of the cuticle protecting it.
The Medulla
If present, this consists of a thin core of transparent cells and air spaces.
The products in our Keratin10 range have been developed to penetrate inside the hair shaft to nourish, re-hydrate and fortify whilst also strengthening the cuticles to help protect against damage and dryness. Hair is left looking glossy and healthy and manageability is greatly improved.
